CSB reviews vehicle allocation policies

Manama, Nov. 13 (BNA): Jamal Abdul Aziz Al-Alawi, Director General of Organization & Position Budget, said that the Civil Service Bureau(CSB) has studied and reviewed various financial and administrative aspects related to allocation of vehicles to governmental entities under Civil Service umbrella.

The study concluded on the principle of joint allocation of vehicles for the purpose of administrative services, the vehicle is composed of more than one government employee and more than one administrative unit in the same governmental entity whenever possible.

The Director General of Organization & Position Budget confirms, this comes in the pursuit of CSB towards best practices & management policies that leads to a continuous development, upgrading of services and government activities in the Kingdom, and also to improving quality and sustainability of financial resources, through the study and the periodic review of services provided by various government entities.

He added that explained that this work resulted a reduction of vehicles allocation to 650 vehicles instead of 846 vehicles requested by 15 government entities per year, the reduction rate was 23%.
