Jazan-bound ballistic missile intercepted

Riyadh, Aug.11 (BNA): The Saudi Air Defence intercepted today, Saturday, a ballistic missile which was launched by the Houthi militias to target the province of Jazan.

The Air defence systems also intercepted two ballistic missiles yesterday, Friday, as they were heading to target densely-populated areas Jazan, in Southern Saudi Arabia, .

Saudi-led Coalition in support to legitimacy in Yemen Official Spokesman Colonel Turki Al-Malki said that the air defences had detected, at 04.55 pm two ballistic missiles, which were launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militias from the Governorate of Sa’ada to target Saudi Arabia.

“The missiles which were launched to target civilian-populated areas in Saudi Arabia, were intercepted without causing any casualties”, said Col. Al-Malki in statement reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
