Paris, Nov. 14 (BNA): A least 120 people were killed as a result of the series of terror attacks that targeted the French capital on Friday, the French Public Prosecutor announced.
Another 200 were injured, including 80 seriously, according to a source close the investigation, DPA reported.
Eight assailants also died, seven of whom had blown themselves up with explosive belts at various locations, while one had been shot dead by police.
Attackers opened fire at cafes and restaurants outside the Bataclan concert hall, before entering the 1,500-capacity hall which was sold out for a concert of the US rock group Eagles of Death Metal.
Explosions were also reported late Friday near the Stade de France football stadium, which was hosting a friendly match between the French and German national teams.
